Lowell Project

This project began with a full demolition down to the studs, giving us the opportunity to completely reimagine the kitchen and dining area. By removing walls, we opened up the floor plan to create a seamless connection between the kitchen and dining room, enhancing both natural light and flow.

We replaced the old ceiling panels with a smooth modern finish increasing the ceiling height and installed new radiant heated tile flooring, bringing both comfort and durability to the space. Custom cabinetry in birch plywood frames with matte navy dark blue and bold yellow fronts was designed to maximize storage and functionality while staying true to a Scandinavian mid-century modern aesthetic.

The large island serves as the centerpiece, offering abundant prep space, integrated storage, and subtle under-cabinet lighting. The kitchen is finished with a professional-grade range, herringbone backsplash, and custom stainless-steel vent hood, balancing high performance with timeless design.

The result is a complete transformation; warm, functional, and distinctly tailored to the lifestyle of its homeowners.
